my work for canon and blue shield have been making the rounds at the award shows this year. i'll be making updates in my bio section accordingly. they've both recently been featured in the applied arts annual in the april 2009 edition. blue shield also picked up a few ADDY's in new york a few weeks back; gold for integrated campaign and a silver for interactive alone. come on cannes and oneshow. *fingers crossed
also take a look at some of the new print work like the grotesk poster below.
spread the love and lots of it.
i figured 3 months was a long enough hiatus so here's an update. i left the talented folks at relish interactive to take on something new. i ended up at TAXI toronto, which if you haven't heard of them, you've definitely seen the work. i've been working closely with jeff vermeersch over the past few months on a project for blue shield of california which i'll post as soon as it's ready. check back for a link in the next week or so. more updates to follow.
I created a cheesy little blog using tumblr. Nothing crazy but it'll do for now until i muster up enough motivation to get a real one.
I'm another year older and this year, my inner design nerd was spoiled beyond belief. A team of talented friends (Lory Diaz, Zack Ginies and Oscar Rivero) decided to surprise me with a perfectly formed helvetica cake, made with love and hate.
Man I need a blog.
I can't believe it. I actually won something besides a from-frozen Boston cream, or an egg mcmuffin. Last night I was given an FITC award for Best Canadian Designer 2008. Thanks to everyone for the tremendous support.
You love me. You really love me.
